Thank You Carl

We take this opportunity to send a massive thank you to Carl Valeri, who has stepped away as Club President.

During his 4 years at the helm Carl encouraged a committee that expanded reflecting the growing numbers at the club.

He oversaw the implementation of a strategic plan that enabled and guided a number of projects around the club, drawing on the strengths of people within to lead them.

Some Committee achievements during Carl's time:

• Football Australia 1 star Club Changer status, for work in development of women and girls football.

• simplification of Governance and procedures with systems such as Majesrti

• improved communications usging Majestri and with Heja rolled out club wide

• focus on coaches development and player retention, which helped see us to a club record 36 teams (15 MiniRoos, 16 Juniors, 5 Seniors) + Saturday MiniRoos

• sourcing a new kit supplier that ensured better value for money

Then there's the projects more visible to everyone:

• new portable goals for game day & training

• reconfigured and expanded pitches, giving the club two full-sized pitches for the first time

• the new lights on the pitch in front of the council building

We are pleased that Carl will still be involved around the club, he will assist the new committee in an advisory role.

Thank you Carl for volunteering your time over the past 4 years. The club was in a good position when you stepped up, we find ourselves in an even greater position now!
