Mens SL7 Opponents

Football Victoria have sent clubs a draft fixture (which we can’t release) which has given us insight as to who our opponents are for the newly formed Stale League 7 North-West.

Ourselves, ETA Buffalo, Footscray Rangers & Wyndham FC move across from last years State 5 West; with 5 joining from State 5 North: FC Birrarung, Greenvale United, La Trobe University, Mitchell Rangers & Roxburgh Park.

The league restructure sees Old Trinity moving across from State 5 East.

All the above opponents we have played in the past, whether it be friendlies, State 4 or Australia Cup. La Trobe Uni we played in our first senior season in the old Thirds Division 2.

Dynamo Melbourne are new to the State Leagues, moving from Metro League 2. Another new addition is Murray United, who are fielding their first senior teams since 2019.

Gone are our trips to Geelong and beyond, making us the most western side in the league. The most northern club is Murray United, located in Baranduda, which is basically in Wodonga, as such they are also our most eastern opponent. To round things off, Wyndham are the most southern located club.
